Your first two paragraphs are gold and need to be posted on my morning mirror. I’ll test out the morning would… to see if it works in the afternoon! Great writing!

I have a serious question. If one finds himself disabled, what can he do other than weight lifting? I got hurt a few years ago. I am still recovering. I became morbidly obese since then. I did not realize how much I leaned on movement to burn calories. I have cut my diet, but the weight loss is tragically slow, with occasional reversals. It has been a nightmare.

The only upside is that my insomnia went away. I used to never sleep unless i did some serious physical work during the day. If I ever took a day off, no sleep that night. Post-injury, I now sleep like a baby. I sleep so much my doctors gave me medicine to stay awake during the day. Otherwise, I long for days when I could take painless walks or wait in line. It sounds ridiculous, but man, it sucks to be limited in this way. So I lift weights and try to restore upper body strength while appreciating that I can order groceries online.

Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
