I applaud you on your sobriety. I sped passed every possible off ramp on my road to distruction until at last, society handed me my rock bottom. I was poor, penniless, unemployed and wired to a hospital bed for eight days. My sobriety date is July 8th, not because I wanted to have fun on the 4th of July, but because that's the day they hauled me away on a gurney.
